Vision Quest Communications provides comprehensive, culturally grounded communications solutions designed for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities across Canada. As a 100% Indigenous-owned consulting firm, we combine professional expertise with deep cultural knowledge to deliver services that respect traditional protocols, strengthen governance, and amplify community voices.
Our service model is structured around three retainer tiers — Community Voice, Governing Nation, and Nation Builder — with governance always at the centre. Media production and digital strategy services are available as standalone engagements or as add-ons to any retainer. Contact us to discuss the right level of partnership for your Nation or organization.

Each tier is built around the governance writing, communications, and strategic support that are foundational to every First Nation's operation. As you move through the tiers, the depth, volume, and scope of our partnership expands — while cultural accountability and relationship-first practice remain constant.

Vision Quest Communications is an Indigenous media production company with over 3,000 collective hours — including documentaries, feature films, children's programming, magazine-style programs, and mainstream news. Our productions have aired on CBC, CTV, APTN, and streaming platforms.
Media production and podcast services are offered separately from our communications retainer tiers, as standalone project contracts. This ensures you can invest in production work at the right time and scale, with full creative and cultural collaboration from the ground up.
We consider the documentation of language and cultural knowledge to be among the most important production work we do. These projects are scoped in close partnership with Elders, knowledge holders, and Nation leadership — never on an outside timeline.
Any communications retainer tier can be supplemented with additional services. Contact us for current rates on the following:

Every engagement begins with listening. Before any content is created, our team takes time to understand your Nation's priorities, communications challenges, and the cultural protocols that must guide our work. We are not vendors — we are partners who share accountability to community.
All retainer agreements begin month-to-month for the first three months, transitioning to a six-month or annual agreement upon mutual confirmation. We are available to begin immediately upon agreement.
